Crop the current page or every page.
PDF cropping usually changes the page boxes that tell a viewer which part of the page should be displayed. It is not automatically the same as permanently deleting every object outside the new boundary. That difference is important when cropping is used for presentation versus privacy.
NoblePDF lets you preview a page and adjust the crop region interactively. The selected rectangle is translated back into PDF page coordinates so the resulting page uses the new visible bounds. Because pages can have different dimensions or rotations, always review more than the single preview page when applying a crop across a varied document.
If the purpose is to remove confidential information, do not use cropping as a substitute for secure redaction. Content outside a crop box can remain in the file even though an ordinary viewer does not display it. Use a content-removal/redaction workflow for sensitive information and verify the exported PDF by searching and inspecting it.
Cropping is useful for scanned margins, unwanted printer borders, slide-like PDFs with excess canvas area and documents that need a tighter page for presentation. It can also change how a document prints, because printers and applications may interpret MediaBox, CropBox and related page boxes differently.
Keep the original before applying a destructive-looking change. If a cropped page appears rotated, clipped or offset in a second viewer, compare the page’s original rotation and dimensions. PDF coordinate systems place the origin differently from browser canvas coordinates, so correct conversion between those spaces is part of a reliable crop tool.
The operation is performed in the browser for the supported workflow, so the PDF does not need to be uploaded to a NoblePDF conversion server merely to adjust its page boundaries.
Check more than the appearance of the first page. A document can mix portrait and landscape pages, different trim sizes and rotated scans, so one crop rectangle may not describe every page equally well. If the tool applies the same proportional crop across pages, inspect the narrowest and widest pages as well as the page used for the preview.
Open the output in another PDF viewer and inspect the page properties if the crop is important. Some viewers expose CropBox and MediaBox dimensions, which helps distinguish a changed viewing boundary from permanently removed page content. That distinction matters when the document will be published, archived or handled by another automated PDF system.
For printing, make sure the new visible page still leaves the margins you need. Home and office printers often have non-printable edge areas, and a crop that looks attractive on screen can place text too close to the physical paper edge. For privacy, use redaction rather than crop when the hidden area contains confidential information.
Cropping changes page geometry rather than securely deleting hidden content. Use the page-box evidence below to understand what the exported PDF keeps.
